3 PM, in front of the Paulson Building: In particular, Our fellow UAW affiliates SWAN and CFU are holding a rally ahead of bargaining for each group’s first contract. One of our NYURU members will be speaking!

12:30 PM, Washington Square Park: “Kick ICE Off Campus” rally. Sponsored by NYU YDSA

5 PM, Foley Square: city-wide May Day rally. You can RSVP here to connect with other UAW academic workers and union members joining the march.

7:30 PM, Skirball Center: choral interpretation of Peter Kropotkin’s The Conquest of Bread, free. We will be tabling with some informational materials beforehand starting at 5:30.

8 PM, Washington Square Park: vigil for the Detained, Deported, and Disappeared. Sponsored by NYU YDSA
Finally, we are partnering with GSOC to collect testimonials from anyone who has been impacted by funding cuts or any recent immigration policies. The submissions will be featured on the GSOC website at a later point and anonymous submissions are welcome. Please share with anyone who wants to share their story.
